Cheese and marmite puff pastry whirls

These are a family favourite and are always gone within a day. For marmite lovers, these are perfect. However, my mum hates marmite but likes these snacks. The recipe I have found is from http://www.greatbritishbakingclub.co.uk/2011/11/budding-bakers-cheesy-marmite-wheels.html. Here is the recipe:

(J's favourite)

Ingredients

100g (or thereabouts) Ready made puff pastry

2 tbsp Marmite
100g grated Cheddar cheese

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 220C/200F/Gas 6. Line a baking sheet with non-stick baking parchment. Dust a worksurface with flour and roll out your puff pastry into a rectangle to about the thickness of a pound coin.

2. Spread the Marmite onto the pastry. If you hate Marmite, you can use passata or even ketchup for something different.

3. Sprinkle with cheese, and roll up.

4. Cut the roll into slices about 1cm in thickness. Place them onto the lined baking sheet and pop in the oven for 15-20 minites, or until puffy and golden.
